Following the announcement of a USD 500,000 grant from the Swiss Re Foundation to support FSD Africa’s BimaLab insurance accelerator programme, we are planning to kick-off the next phase in Ethiopia, Uganda, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Egypt, and Morocco, to spur innovation of insurance solutions for the underserved. The programme’s main aim is to unlock and accelerate the transformation of Africa’s insurance sector through innovative offerings for the sector’s unique landscape.
